Engadget.com notices that no sooner has Gmail launched than somebody wrote a program which allows user to download their messages by POP3. The program is called Pop Goes the Gmail.

I did however get a ‘System.Net.WebException’ when I tried to run it, apparently YahooPops was already started and there was a port conflict
