On the Esato.com forum you will find a great firmware overview for K750 and W800. It includes release data, contained fixes and at the end there’s a description of the update procedures, via SEUS II (Sony Ericsson Update Service II) or other update service (notably DaVinci Team)

Over at SEUniverse.com you can find a complete tutorial on how to flash a Sony Ericsson K750 into a W800i. Step by step instructions with photos and required software is available. And you can even use you supplied USB cable, so no custom service cable is required.

Worth looking into it!
