Is it OK to remove the the “wp.com stats helper” link below the widget on the sidebar, as I have half attempted? I’m new to this whole thing, but I know some programs do not allow editing of the code. I just view the link as non-professinal looking, and unsure as if to keep it on the site with the link. Thanks for any feedback!

(apologies if this is a duplicate comment, it looks like my comments on “Plugin: Stats Helper Functions And Widgets” are all being silently blocked?)
I’ve been seeing blank Top Posts links for a few weeks. The link is there, but the text and title are not. Check my blog for example. I’ve checked the posts table in the database, and don’t see anything unusual about the posts that are not appearing. Any ideas? —Diana

Diana, this seems to be a problem on the wordpress.com stats server. I’ve seen this happen a couple of times, though not at this level, and it’s also visible in the dashboard stats: sometimes it messes up the titles of the posts. When this happens also the URL-s get messed up (using ?p=xxx instead of nice URLs).

thank you for the speedy reply, Vlad!! I notice that *all* the URLs are using p=xxx instead of pretty URLs. No solution to this? Should I post about it on wordpress.com?

I think others already reported the problem, check these two threads:

Until it gets fixed by wp team, I prepared a quick fix myself!
