Microsoft patents the ‘patent’

Windows XP SP2 (Service Pack 2)

IBM doesn’t recomend it yet: “While this patch may be good news for other Microsoft Windows XP owners, IBM is directing XP users not to install SP2″.
BBSpot presents a list of Top 11 Updates That Aren’t in Windows XP Service Pack 2. Among them, my favourite: Pre-installed MyDoom virus.

FlipStart: Palm Held PC
Written by Vlad on June 18, 2004 – 12:26 pmPaul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, had gathered a team to develop “a computer as powerful and easy to use as a desktop model, but small enough to fit in a pocket”. Originally dubbed Vulcan miniPC, it was shown at DEMO 2004 unde the name FlipStart.
