Vio‘s been busy lately and for a good reason: together with the other guys at Sety they’ve launched www.flickrcombat.com. That’s the best place to seek out new and interesting pictures on Flickr and to rate them against each other. So, no matter if you’re into Babes, Cars, Landscapes, Arts, cute Cats & Dogs or Guys (wtf!?), make sure you pay them a visit.

Just take good care as it’s quite addictive! And with lots of new pictures added each day and new features expected soon I’m sure it will be a blast.

A nice ranking of the WW2 Romanian Ace Pilots can be found here. Names such as Constantin Cantacuzino, Alexandru Serbanescu, Ion Milu and Teodor Greceanu, also pictures, plane models and biographies.

The picture is from a poster with Ioan Dicezare’s “You go, girl!” plane.

Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, had gathered a team to develop “a computer as powerful and easy to use as a desktop model, but small enough to fit in a pocket”. Originally dubbed Vulcan miniPC, it was shown at DEMO 2004 unde the name FlipStart.
