FreeNews: Mobile RSS Newsfeeds Reader
Written by Vlad on April 27, 2005 – 5:25 pmTake your feeds with you wherever you go! FreeNews allows you to turn your Java-enabled mobile phone into an RSS feed reader. Maybe I’ll give it a try over Easter weekend when I’ll be out of town to see my parents.
As a side note: I love the name. I do however wonder if they’re gonna keep the service free (now it’s in Public Preview).

Help needed from Romanian readers
Written by Vlad on November 16, 2004 – 10:23 amI need some help with a project for the University. I’m taking courses for a master degree in eBusiness and one of the courses is Statistics. In order to finish a project I need to get at least 120 answers to a survey. So, if you can read in Romanian and are willing to help, please go to http://sondaj.3x.ro/ and answer the questions as honestly as you can. Thank you in advance!

RSS anyone?
Written by Vlad on May 25, 2004 – 11:05 amCNET news.com features an article on Pluck, an addon for Internet Explorer featuring RSS news reader, web collaboration and extended web search.
I’ve tried the software and as far as I can tell it’s just a piece of junk. RSS Feeds are not working properly and the extended web search is just a redirect to a couple of search engines. And it makes IE hang everytime you click on Pluck’s side panel. Couldn’t test the web collaboration part as i was too annoyed and un-installed it after less that 15 minutes of trial.
I guess I’ll stick to RssReader for now!
